The California Poppy is our state flower. The flower is edible and can be used in fresh in salads or for baked goods .. have you tried focaccia bread art with flowers and vegetables? They also have all sorts of medicinal qualities and can be used to treat insomnia, aches and promotes relaxation just to name a few. These beauties are growing in our 6th Street Garden and attracts a variety of bees, butterflies and admiring eyes from our garden volunteers and guests.
